I recently completed a design/build of a 3D printed arc reactor project that I thought might be cool for your blog!
The prop was designed to be as wearable as possible and uses 11 of your royal blue sequin LEDs on a custom circuit board which are controlled by an ATTiny85. The board runs off of a coin cell watch battery so it is not necessary to run wires underneath your shirt to an external battery pack, and has a potentiometer so that it is possible to adjust the brightness. To make switching batteries easy, the prop also has 3D printed threads that allow a person to screw it into/out of a chest harness, which was also 3D printed.
Overall, I thought that your readers might find this project interesting, since the video goes from initial concept all the way through a finished item, hitting topics on CAD, PCB design, electronics, 3D printing, painting, and sewing along the way.
