We see an almost perfect fit to the standard model of cosmology

ESA’s Planck telescope has painted and delivered another stunning image, showing us what the universe looked like just after the Big Bang. Capturing the universe’s “relic radiation” or CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background radiation) when it was a mere babe at 400,000 years old, the data reinforce the standard model of cosmology with unprecedented accuracy.
